Maple in the County’s participating farms attracted thousands of visitors last weekend, all looking for a taste of the famous syrup. Farmers reported a challenging year, but the warm temperatures produced lots of sap, which boiled down to more of the dark and amber coloured syrup rather than the lighter. Sounds good to us. Suzanne Pasternak
The life of beloved County playwright, author, and song writer Suzanne Pasternak will be celebrated at the Regent next week with a musical memorial.
Artists include daughter Natasha Pasternak, Tom Leighton, Miss Emily, Lenni Stewart, and Trinity (Renie Thompson, Kim Inch, and Jeanette Arsenault).
The Celebration of Life is Wednesday 3 April at 6 p.m. Admission is free but please contact the Regent Theatre to reserve your seat.
