Theatre Roulant’s An Evening with Shakes-Beer and Whine runs tonight through Saturday evening at Waring House. “It’s a tale told by an idiot, but you should come see it anyway.” Blueberry Picking continues all weekend at locations around the County — the U-Pick and Blueberry Patch are in Waupoos on County Road 8. July 26 Barbara Sings Bacharach at the Sergeants Mess Hall at Base31. The Department of Illumination Night Watch installation at Base31 continues every weekend. The Music at Port Milford Artist Chamber Concert Series continues Saturday evening July 27 with “In Wonder” at St. Mary Magdalene in Picton. Also July 27, Biglake Arts presents Hatch, a professional development programme that focuses on contemporary chamber music created by Continuum, at Hatch Gallery. Radiator Collective presents Knitting and Queen of Swords at Matron Fine Beer July 28. Sugarbush Vineyards hosts a 6km Happy Hour Trail Run Friday July 26 at 6pm. Half Moon Run plays the Base31 Drill Hall on Saturday July 27. And looking ahead: the Cherry Valley Women’s Institute presents a huge one-day Art and Craft Sale Thursday August 1 from 10-6pm at the Picton Fairgrounds.
