A P & H Laker loads corn at Hamilton Harbour
P & H Vice President Terminals Darryl Markle stressed that his company’s project has nothing to do with Picton Terminals’ request that the County seek an MZO from the Ontario government. The new port will not involve container shipping and does not require any new zoning.
Council voted 8-4 to seek an independent legal opinion on its settlement agreement.
The Gazette is pleased to present a series of films and books that explore the newspaper life. The series starts Monday evening 21 October at The Pilot’s Lounge at Base31 with a screening of Steven Spielberg’s The Post, which explores the Washington Post decision to publish the Pentagon Papers. The film is based on Post publisher Katharine Graham’s memoir, Personal History, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1998. Catered discussions of the book and the film are Wednesday evenings at the Gazette office. Please join us!
