BIGLAKE Summer Festival 2025 Hidden Gems opens Friday 15 August with legendary Canadian pianist Christina Petrowska Quilico, a recent recipient of the Order of Canada, at the Wellington Music Hall at 7pm.

The Festival continues Saturday 16 August with the Starry Night Candlelight Concert at Cunningham House. The evening starts with a garden reception at 6pm. For outstanding programming all week long, see the BIGLAKE website.

The PEC Jazz Fest continues on Friday afternoon at the Waring House, with Ahmed Moneka and the exciting sounds of Afro-Arabic jazz. See the JazzFest website for programming through August 17.

CountyStage’s Snow White continues at the Eddie Hotel and Farm to 17 August.

CountyStage’s Scripts and Sips is at The Grange Estate Winery Friday evening at 6:30pm, with a reading of Age is a Feeling.

The Pretty Excellent Country Music Festival kicks off Friday evening at Base31 with Elliott Brood in the Sergeants Mess. Dean Brody headlines the Drill Hall on the Saturday.

Celebrate Athol Day at Cherryvale Saturday 16th with a free lunch barbecue, music, magic, games, and more. Bring a lawn chair!

Storytelling at Macaulay House: Join Aweraná:wen as he shares Kanyenke’ha’ka stories that inspired the artwork created by artist and Kanienke’ha language teacher, Tkarahkwénhas. Saturday 11-noon and 2-3.

Tkarahkwénhas’ artwork is being featured at A Path Forward throughout the month of August.

The Picton Town Hall Farmers Market runs Sundays 9-2 at 2 Ross Street, Picton all summer long, rain or shine. Sunday 17 August features tomato sandwich making with Vicki and Chef Charlotte Langley.
