On the Cover: Special Fall Fair Book Issue

The Gazette partnered with the Prince Edward Agricultural Society (established in 1831) to produce the 16-page Fall Fair Book, delivered with every newspaper. Categories range from the year’s best hydrangea to the year’s best baby! Time to get ready for the Fair!

This week’s cover features a detail from Donna Wolski’s The Guernsey Farm, which won first prize at the 2025 fair’s Art Show.

Opening Night of CountyStage’s First Date at The Regent, Saturday 11 July at 7:30 pm.

Prince Edward Quilter’s Guild Quilt Show Wellington’s Lehigh Arena Saturday and Sunday 10-4pm. $10 admission, kids free.

Lavender Festival 732 Closson Road, Hillier. Saturday and Sunday 10-5pm. Live bands, buskers, wagon rides, children's activities and a petting zoo. Distillery demonstrations will be available all day and u-pick lavender bouquets.

County Arts presents Art in the County juried art show and sale. Showcasing over 100 works in a wide range of media, including watercolour, acrylic, oil, and encaustic paintings, sculpture, textiles, wood, photography, ceramics, glass, and more. At the Arts Lab in the Armoury, 206 Picton Main.

It’s Market Season. Wellington Community Market is 10-4 on Saturday. The Eddie Farm Market Saturdays 9-1:30. Picton Farmers Market is 9-2 every Sunday.
